After many years of assisting other charities the Trustees have decided to revive Baby Aid in its own right.
Trustees & volunteers will continue to assist other organisations but direct most of their efforts to Baby Aid’s own projects. Baby Aid volunteers work for ‘the welfare of Children and their families throughout the World’.
BABY AID is a small charity based in Eastbourne, East Sussex. Baby Aid works for the welfare of Children and their families.
But it’s now time to mobilise Baby Aid again as the need to support the disadvantaged people of Galati, Romania is as strong as ever. We have no idea of the day to day hardship these people live through.
Families, with young and old, live in what can only be called huts on waste ground next to the steel works and beside the rail tracks. Ninety families share one outside water well. It’s like stepping back in time to the eighteen hundreds.
